Mike in Southport

There are lots of venues at which to play in and around Southport, NC. Whether it’s at the open mics at Tiki Tavern or American Fish Company, or places like Silver Coast Winery Tasting Room, The Wine Rack, or Southport Tap and Cellar, the hosts are all wonderful and the patrons are lively. The community of musicians is also very supportive. It’s not unusual to see players such as John Tatum, Christine Martinez, Dirk Mercer, Jamie Hoover, or Randy Lewis of the Back Porch Rockers in attendance cheering on the performers.
